MALVERN, PENNSYLVANIA, AND STAFFORD, UK, 30 April 2010-PuriCore plc (LSE: PURI) ("PuriCore" or the "Company") today announces the temporary suspension of its shares from the Official List of the Financial Services Authority ("Official List") and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
The Company has been, and continues to be, in discussions with its major shareholders and advisers in relation to a number of strategic initiatives. During this time the Company will not be in a position to finalise and publish its Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2009 and will, therefore, be suspended from listing and trading until such time as the Annual Report and Accounts are published.
The Company is confident of bringing these discussions to a positive conclusion within a short period of time. PuriCore will update the market on both the conclusion of such discussions and the potential timing of the publication of the Annual Report and Accounts. Once the Annual Report and Accounts are finalised and published, the Company intends to apply to have its shares readmitted to listing on the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
