Appointment of New Product Director
The Company announces that it has recruited Luke Heeney as New Product Director with effect from 1 June 2011. Mr Heeney has been appointed specifically to manage the process of commercialising the Company's IP from the development phase through to final product. His initial priority will be to commercialise the blood glucose technology announced today, but his role extends into other planned product developments.
Mr Heeney enjoyed a long career with Unilever, having responsibility for developing new products within the Flora/Becel range of heart-health products. He was most recently Innovation Director with Findus Group.
