ProPhotonix to Exhibit UV LED Curing Systems in Europe at Labelexpo 2017
ProPhotonix Limited (London Stock Exchange - AIM: PPIX, OTC: STKR), a high technology designer and manufacturer of LED illumination systems and laser diode modules, with operations in Ireland and the United Kingdom, announces that it will be exhibiting its range of UV LED curing systems, the COBRA Cure FXTM Series, in Europe for the first time at Labelexpo Europe 2017, Brussels Expo, booth 11A09.
The COBRA Cure FX Series, an innovative range of UV LED curing systems, has been designed specifically for UV curing of inks, coatings and adhesives, making it an ideal solution for UV LED curing in the label industry. The unique platform design maximizes the inherent value of LED based solutions while incorporating a number of unique features to address key issues for equipment manufacturers and end users. These patent pending features have been developed to ensure ease of integration, optimum performance, maximum lifetime, safety and reliability in the field.
COBRA Cure FX series users are already benefitting from innovative features such as a field replaceable window, designed to allow rapid replacement of windows with a build-up of ink mist, without the need for any special tools.
The COBRA Cure FX platform includes compact, fan-cooled UV curing lamps designed for plug and play use. As an LED based solution, the COBRA Cure FX series deliver a significant space saving and a more environmentally friendly solution than traditional systems.
The series is configurable allowing you to "Build your UV LED curing system", a lamp optimized for your specific application. The COBRA Cure FX series is available in a range of wavelengths from 365nm - 405nm (multi-wavelength options also available). Class leading intensities and energy densities are delivered with edge to edge uniformity to ensure a consistent, reliable cure. Options available include optics optimized to deliver the optimum energy density for your application, customizable mechanics and enhanced electronic control options.
