Board Appointment
Premier Foods plc is pleased to announce the appointment of David Wild as non executive Director with effect from 7 March 2011.
Mr Wild is currently Chief Executive of Halfords. Prior to that Mr Wild was employed by Walmart as their Senior Vice President New Business Development in San Francisco, and previously President of Walmart in Germany. Earlier in his career he was with Tesco (1985-2003) where he held a variety of roles including developing and latterly leading their business in Central Europe.
Ronnie Bell, Chairman of Premier Foods, said:

David has had a long and successful career in the retail industry and brings with him a wealth of relevant grocery and retail experience. I look forward to working with him as we focus on our strategy of delivering organic growth and debt reduction."
