Board changes
Premier Foods ("the Company") today announces that Keith Hamill, has informed the Board of his decision to retire as Chairman at the time of the Company's AGM, scheduled to be held on 17 July 2019. Keith was appointed Chairman of the Company in August 2017. The Board would like to thank him for his leadership and counsel and wishes him well for the future.
Premier Foods is also pleased to announce two permanent appointments today. Richard Hodgson has been appointed Senior Independent Director and Pam Powell has been appointed Chair of the Remuneration Committee. Both have extensive industry experience and have been Non-Executive Directors of the Company since 2015 and 2013 respectively. These appointments are effective immediately.
A full recruitment process for a permanent Chairman is underway, led by Senior Independent Director Richard Hodgson.
