Director Change
Petra Diamonds Limited announces with great sadness that Mr. Charles Segall (69), a Non-Executive Director of the Company, passed away on Wednesday 6 July 2011 after a short illness. Charles had served on the Board of Petra since it listed on the AIM market in 1997.
Adonis Pouroulis, Executive Chairman of Petra, commented "On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Charles' family. Charles was a great friend and loyal colleague, who inspired all with the enthusiasm he felt for his life and work. His wisdom, energy and support were integral to the successful launch of Petra. In particular he offered great leadership and strength throughout some of the more challenging times in the Company's history. Petra and its employees were very close to his heart and he treated all around him with respect. He will be much missed by all."
