MTI Wireless Edge Ltd (AIM: MWE), the technology group focused on comprehensive communication and radio frequency solutions across multiple sectors, is pleased to announce that its Antenna division has received orders worth approximately US$0.65 million for its 5G backhaul antenna solution, to be supplied this quarter. The orders are from an existing customer to be deployed in India.

MTI's Antenna division General Manager, Dov Feiner, commented: "We have been waiting for the 5G backhaul market to accelerate its deployment and we now see more opportunities in the market. It is clear that India is going to be the most significant initial market for the solution, but we also see demand from other territories. We believe that we currently offer the most comprehensive solutions in this market, including flat antennas, single band, dual band and automatic beam steering antennas and are working closely with leading Original Equipment Manufacturers. These orders represent our first significant orders for immediate deployment and we are excited by the opportunity ahead of us".
