The Company is pleased to report the publication of its standalone 2021 Sustainability Report and associated website content updates, which can be accessed here: https://www.melroseplc.net/sustainability/.
These highlight Melrose's progress and strong investment in its businesses to achieve sustainable improvements across the range of environmental, social and governance topics, aligned with the transition to a net zero emission economy before 2050 for them and their customers. Short, medium and long term targets provide substance to the improvement plans, which are on track and form an important part of the Melrose model for businesses under our ownership. The Company continues to benchmark its progress against external agencies, which show a strong improving trend, with a number of initiatives still in development.
