Morgan Sindall PLC10 July 2007 Morgan Sindall plc Morgan Sindall JV awarded Dorset Emergency Services Partnership Initiative PFI Construction and urban regeneration group Morgan Sindall plc announces that aspart of the Partnership for Fire Limited (Pff), a joint venture between MorganSindall Investments, Calderpeel Carden Croft and Barclays EuropeanInfrastructure Fund, it has achieved financial close on the Dorset EmergencyServices Partnership Initiative (DESPI) PFI project. Pff has signed a 25 year project agreement with Dorset Fire Authority and DorsetPolice Authority to design, build, finance and operate a number of new fire andemergency services facilities in Dorset. Pff will provide two new fire stationsand a new joint police divisional and fire area headquarters in Poole and asecond fire service area headquarters in Dorchester. Bluestone (soon to berenamed Morgan Ashurst), Morgan Sindall's construction business, will design andbuild these new facilities with construction of the accommodation due to startimmediately. The anticipated value of construction works is approximately £46million over two years.
