MDMG OPENS MISCARRIAGE TREATMENT CENTRE AT PMC
8 June 2017, Moscow - MD Medical Group Investments Plc ("MD Medical Group", "MDMG" or the "Company" - LSE: MDMG), a leading Russian private healthcare provider, today announces the opening of the Miscarriage Treatment Centre at Perinatal Medical Centre (PMC) in Moscow.
The new centre is focused on pregnancy planning and screening for patients at high-risk of miscarriage, foetal genetic abnormalities, and preeclampsia. It will also offer prognosis and treatment for complications during pregnancy, delivery, and care for new-borns from 23 weeks of gestational age.
The centre comprises 10 beds, outpatient department, operating theatre, intensive care and therapy ward with extracorporeal methods of treatment. Annual capacity of Miscarriage Treatment Centre will be 36,500 patient-days.
The new department at PMC includes a prenatal care unit, intensive care unit for children, neonatal pathology unit, endoscopic surgery unit, clinical and molecular genetic laboratory, ultrasound unit, extracorporeal haemocorrection unit, CT and MRI facilities, as well as therapy and rheumatology units.
The Company's total investment in opening the new centre amounted to ca. RUB15 mln.
