Further to the announcement of 12 May 2020 which confirmed that Rowan Baker would leave the Company on 31 July 2020 McCarthy & Stone plc, the UK's leading developer and manager of retirement communities, today announces that Rowan Baker has left the Company with immediate effect.
As contemplated by the announcement on 12 May 2020 Martin Abell will join the Board of McCarthy & Stone plc with effect from 1 August 2020, following a successful handover with Rowan Baker since he joined as CFO Designate on 26 May 2020. Martin most recently held the position of CFO at Clinigen Group plc, the pharmaceutical and services company, and prior to that was the Finance Director (Europe and Rest of World division) for Hays plc, the FTSE 250 professional recruitment company.
The Company confirms that there is no further information that is required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority with regard to the appointment of Martin Abell. |
