Macfarlane Group PLC09 May 2006 Macfarlane Group PLC AGM statement and interim dividend declaration In March 2006, I reported a positive start to 2006 and that the Boardanticipates for the full year a significant advance in profits over 2005. At theend of the first quarter we have seen sales growth over the same period in 2005in all our businesses except Labels, where new business wins are taking longerthan expected to achieve. Our anticipation of a significant advance in profitsin 2006 is maintained. The Board today declares that payment of an interim dividend of 1p per ordinaryshare will be made on Thursday 22 June 2006 to those shareholders on theregister on 26 May 2006.
