Capital Markets Day and Product Launches
LoopUp Group plc ("LoopUp"), the premium remote meetings company, will host a Capital Markets Day from 2pm until 5pm this afternoon at FTI Consulting's offices, 200 Aldersgate, Aldersgate Street, London, EC1A 4HD.
The event will be hosted by Steve Flavell, Michael Hughes and the senior management team, and will feature a series of presentations on the Group's strategy, operations and product suite. Highlights include two key product launches:
1) the introduction of video functionality into its flagship software-as-a-service product for remote meetings, LoopUp, as separately announced this morning; and
2) the launch of 'Event by LoopUp', a high quality operator-assisted call service for customers in the public and private sectors. Following the successful acquisition of MeetingZone in June 2018, the Group gained the capability to provide such operator-assisted calls, a line of business that generated revenue of £1.7 million in FY2018.
Event by LoopUp emphasises the role played by its account managers and highly skilled event call operators in order to differentiate its service offering in the market. These are critical and often very large calls, where customers value a premium level of 'white gloves' support throughout the event process - from booking, through dress rehearsals, clearly during the event itself, and in a post event debrief. Event by LoopUp seeks to ensure that the customer is comfortable and informed from end-to-end so that these important announcements and events run smoothly and to plan.
The Group plans to replicate MeetingZone's Cardiff event operations in Boston and actively promote and grow this line of business via cross-sales through its international account management and pods structure.
No new material financial information will be provided at the Capital Markets Day.
