Additional NED to join Inmarsat Board
29 January 2019: Inmarsat plc (LSE: ISAT.L), the world leader in global, mobile satellite communications, is pleased to announce that Tracy Clarke will join its Board on 1 February 2019 as an additional non-executive director.
Tracy has over 30 years' experience in a range of international roles at Standard Chartered Bank PLC, and is currently Regional CEO, Europe and Americas and CEO, Private Bank. Her previous senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank include Group Head Corporate Affairs, Group Head Human Resources, and Director, Legal and Compliance.
Tracy has previously held Non-Executive Director positions at Sky plc and eaga plc. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at TheCityUK and is a Non-Executive Director at England Netball.
Andrew Sukawaty, Chairman said: "We are delighted to welcome Tracy to our Board and as a member of the Remuneration Committee. She brings global management experience, working in emerging markets, plus her previous Board experience and Remuneration Committee knowledge which will enhance our capabilities as a Board. We intend to recommend all our directors for re-election at the AGM in May and Tracy will be put forward for election."
There is no other information required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13R in respect of this appointment.
