Board changes

International Greetings plc ("International Greetings" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the next stage in the restructuring of its Board. 

John Elfed Jones, who was Chairman until 2006 and has since been a Non-Executive Director, retired as a director on 31st March 2009 after 15 years of service. 

He has been succeeded as a Non-Executive Director by Chris Howell.  Chris is highly experienced in Executive, Non-Executive and advisory roles within companies, and has worked extensively with banks and private equity houses.  He has experience in the retail, leisure and fast moving consumer goods sectors.

The Company has also appointed Charles Uwakaneme as an Executive Director. Charles took charge of its business in Wales a year ago and has led and managed the restructuring of that business.  He will continue to be responsible for the business in Wales, but will also take on some Groupwide activities. 

Commenting on these changes Keith James, Chairman of International Greetings, said:
