Re: Change to the benchmark index series of the Fund

Dear Shareholder
The Directors of the Company wish to advise you that the benchmark index series of the Fund is to change from 2 July 2012 (the "Effective Date"). You are being contacted because you are invested in the Fund.
The current benchmark index series
Currently the benchmark index series applicable to the Fund is a gross index series, i.e. gross of any relevant withholding taxes.
The new benchmark index series
From the Effective Date the benchmark index series applicable to the Fund will be a net index series, i.e. net of any relevant withholding taxes.
Reason for the change of benchmark index series
iShares is committed to continually enhance its existing product suite.
The change to the benchmark index series of the Fund is being made to reduce tracking error and therefore improve the ability of the Fund to achieve its investment objective. The changes will not result in any change to the way the Fund is managed.
You are not required to do anything as a result of this notification.
