Appointment of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Customer Officer to Board

The board of Ideagen plc (AIM: IDEA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Barnaby (Barney) Kent, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Ben Dorks, Chief Customer Officer (CCO) as Directors of the board of Ideagen with immediate effect.

Barney Kent (aged 40) was the Group Operations Director of Ideagen from January 2013, to January 2015 before promotion to Group COO. Previously Barney was the Chief Executive Officer of Plumtree Group which was acquired by Ideagen in 2013. As Group COO Barney's responsibilities cover R&D, HR, IT, Quality and Customer Support.

Ben Dorks (aged 42) was the Group Sales and Marketing Director of Ideagen from January 2013 to January 2015 before promotion to Group CCO. Previously Ben was Sales and Marketing Director of Plumtree Group. As Group CCO Ben's responsibilities cover Sales, Marketing and Professional Services.

Commenting on these appointments David Hornsby, CEO of Ideagen said,

Ben and Barney have been fundamental to the successful execution of the Group's growth strategy and it is now important that they are able to fully contribute at board level''
