Hygea VCT plc03 April 2008 For Immediate Release 3 April 2008 Hygea VCT plc ("Hygea" or "the Company") Issue of equity The directors of Hygea VCT plc (the "Company") are pleased to announce anallotment on 2 April 2008 of 100,200 ordinary shares of 50 pence each("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 50 pence each pursuant to the 10% Top Up Offerannounced on 19 March 2008. Application will be made for the Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the OfficialList of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange'smarket for listed securities and dealings are expected to commence within the next ten days. The Offer remains open until 30 April 2008. As part of this subscription, James Otter, a non-executive director of theCompany, subscribed for 6,000 Ordinary Shares.
