Additional Listing
UK COAL PLC (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 124,527 ordinary shares of 1 pence each to be admitted to listing. These shares were issued to satisfy awards under the Long Term Incentive Plan and rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares in the Company. It is expected that dealings will commence on 31 October 2008.
Following the issue of these shares, the Company's issued share capital now consists of 157,252,747 ordinary shares of 1p each with voting rights. None of these ordinary shares are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 157,252,747.
