Result of GM

and

Approval of Share Consolidation

Hermes Pacific Investments plc ("HPAC" or the "Company") announces that the resolution proposed at its GM held today to approve a share consolidation was duly passed. Details of the Share Consolidation were set out to shareholders in a circular dated 15 August 2013.

Under the Share Consolidation, every 200 Existing Ordinary Shares will be consolidated into one New Ordinary Share. The Share Consolidation will become effective immediately following close of business on 10 September 2013.

Application has been made for the 2,333,295 New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence from 8 a.m. on Tuesday, 10 September 2013. The New Ordinary Shares will trade under the ISIN: GB00BD02KZ12 and SEDOL: BD02KZ1.

Existing share certificates will cease to be valid following the Share Consolidation. It is intended to issue certificates in respect of the New Ordinary Shares by no later than 17 September 2013, at the same time as the despatch of the fractional cheques or credit of CREST members' accounts in respect of fractional sale proceeds. New Ordinary Shares due to uncertificated shareholders will be credited to the relevant stock accounts on 10 September 2013.

In accordance with the provisions of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority, the Company confirms that, following the Share Consolidation, its issued share capital will comprise 2,333,295 Ordinary Shares of 100p each. All of the Ordinary Shares have equal voting rights and none of the Ordinary Shares are held in Treasury. The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 2,333,295.

This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
