Close period repurchase programme

Halfords Group plc ("Halfords" or the "Company") announces that the Company has entered into an irrevocable and non-discretionary arrangement with its broker, Investec, to repurchase on its behalf and within certain pre-set parameters, ordinary shares in Halfords for cancellation during the Company's close period which will end on the day prior to the announcement of the Company's Preliminary Results. This arrangement is in accordance with Chapter 12 of the UKLA Listing Rules and Halfords's general authority to repurchase shares.
