Project Update

Herencia is pleased to provide an update on its current activities in Chile.

In relation to the Company's 70% owned Paguanta Project (the "Project") in northern Chile:

·; Drilling at Doris has been completed. Ten holes were drilled to depths varying from 60m to 200m. Due to the Easter period, first assays results are anticipated in early-May.

·; Drilling at the La Rosa porphyry-copper target has commenced. At this stage it is anticipated that up to five holes will be drilled.

·; In-fill drilling at Patricia is scheduled to commence this quarter following permitting.

·; Upgrading of the site camp facilities is nearing completion (to accommodate the additional planned drilling crews and Feasibility Study personnel). Installation of computing/phone facilities to fully integrate site with the Santiago and Iquique offices is expected to be completed in May.

·; First stage metallurgical test work in underway at a laboratory in Canada.

·; Initial processing plant layout design work in progress.

·; Baseline environmental work continues, initially focussing on planned site infrastructure locations (processing plant, tailings storage facility, camp site etc).

·; Two weather stations will be installed in the coming weeks, both for baseline environmental purposes and to gauge the potential for future use of renewable energy sources on site (such wind turbines).

In relation to the new Copper-Gold JV Project opportunity:

·; Documentation - good progress has been made in relation to drafting the required Agreement documentation. At this time it is anticipated that the parties will be in a position to execute documentation by end-April/early-May, which would allow project work to commence immediately thereafter.

·; Personnel - candidates for Project Geologist have been interviewed. The goal is to complete geological mapping, sampling, trenching and geophysics in the June to September period to allow a diamond drilling program to commence in October 2011.
