Herencia Resources PLC05 April 2007 5 April 2007 Herencia Resources plc ("Herencia" or the "Company") Change of Accounting Reference Date The Company announces that by resolution of the Board on 29 March 2007 it haschanged its accounting reference date to 31 December to align its annual yearend and audit with its South American operating subsidiaries. This change will take effect from the date the board resolution is filed atCompanies House, which is anticipated to occur during the course of the weekcommencing 8 April 2007. The next results to be announced by Herencia, in accordance with the AIM Rules,will cover the six months ending 30 June 2007 and will be announced by 30September 2007. The audited financial information for the 18 months period ended31 December 2007 will be published by 30 June 2008. In the meantime, Herencia anticipates releasing audited accounts for the Groupas soon as possible for the six months period ended 31 December 2006 in orderthat audited information is available to investors.
