Interim Management Statement

Filtronic issues its Interim Management Statement for the period from 1 June 2009, ahead of today's AGM.

Trading in the first quarter has continued at a similar level to the second half of last year with performance above breakeven and cash neutrality.

At the end of August 2009, the Company had £16.3m of cash.

As already announced, Howard Ford will succeed John Poulter as Chairman subject to shareholder approval at today's AGM. Mike Brennan was appointed CFO on 1 September to replace Stephen Mole who leaves the company at the end of September. 

There have been no other significant changes in the position of the company over the period since the publication of its annual report for the year ended 31 May 2009.

The half year financial report for the six months ended 30 November 2009 will be announced in January 2010.
