Filtronic PLC16 October 2006 FILTRONIC PLC Filtronic plc announces the completion of the sale of the filter-based transmit receive module and power amplifier businesses of its Wireless Infrastructure division Filtronic plc ("Filtronic") today announced the completion of the sale of thefilter-based transmit receive module and power amplifier businesses of itsWireless Infrastructure division ("Wireless Infrastructure business") toPowerwave Technologies Inc ("Powerwave"). The Powerwave stock, which Filtronic has received as part of the considerationfor the disposal of the Wireless Infrastructure business, will be registered andfreely transferable following completion of the necessary regulatory filingswith the SEC. It is expected that these will be completed within the next 5days.
