Fisher (James) & Sons PLC04 September 2007 James Fisher and Sons Public Limited Company ("the Company") Director Shareholding The Company was notified on 3 September 2007 that Mr M.J.Shields, a director ofthe Company, had sold 81,242 Ordinary Shares in the Company at 675p per share. The Company was notified on 4 September 2007 that Mr M.J.Shields had exercisedoptions over 62,324 Ordinary Shares with an exercise price of 142p. On the sameday, Mr Shields sold 47,000 Ordinary Shares at 670p per share. Following these transactions Mr Shields has a beneficial interest in theCompany's issued ordinary share capital of 165,324 Ordinary Shares representing0.33 per cent of the Company's total issued ordinary share capital. Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange and UK Listing Authorityfor 62,324 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List and to tradingpursuant to the exercise of these options.
