Subscription Shares - Notice of suspension

On 26 April 2013 Fidelity Asian Values PLC (the "Company") notified holders ofthe Company's subscription shares (the "Subscription Shares") that the finalperiod during which they are entitled to subscribe for Ordinary Shares ends on31 May 2013 (the "Final Subscription Date").

To the extent holders of Subscription Shares have not elected to exercise theirSubscription Share rights by the Final Subscription Date, a trustee will beappointed over the outstanding Subscription Shares. In accordance with theSubscription Share terms, the trustee will have to decide whether or not toexercise the outstanding Subscription Share rights within 14 days of the FinalSubscription Date, such period expiring at close of business on 14 June 2013.

The Company has requested that the UK Listing Authority suspend the listing ofthe Subscription Shares from 7.30 am on 3 June 2013, following the passing ofthe Final Exercise Date, with the listing of the Subscription Shares to becancelled in due course.
