Mobile operator in one of theΒ CISΒ countries trials iPoint-media's Vitrage platformΒ for new interactive 3G video calling services
iPoint-media (AIM:IPNT), a provider of live, interactive video applications and delivery platforms for web, 3G mobile and media, announces that a major mobile operator inΒ one of the largest CISΒ countries has selected the Company's Vitrage video calling application platform for a trial for the delivery of new interactive 3G video calling services to its subscribers. The Vitrage platform enables the operator to operate trials of an extensive set of interactive 3G video calling services. The platform was provided by iPoint-media through its partnership withΒ aΒ worldΒ leading telecom network vendor.
iPoint-media's platform was selected since it provides a wide range of interactive video calling services and because of its flexible and powerful Service Creation Environment technology. The platformΒ willΒ operate over a production test network delivered by the leading telecom network vendor.
