Exercise of Share Options
EMIS Group plc ("the Company") announces that on 1 June 2016 the Company was notified that Chris Spencer, Chief Executive Officer, had exercised an option over 1,369 ordinary shares of one pence each ("Ordinary Shares") granted at a price of £7.30 per Ordinary Share under an existing Company share option plan on 2 May 2013. The option granted was not subject to performance conditions.
As a result Chris Spencer subsequently acquired 1,369 Ordinary shares at a price of £7.30 per Ordinary Share and sold 942 Ordinary Shares at a price of £10.62 per Ordinary Share to fund the exercise. These Ordinary Shares were acquired by JY Trustees Limited on behalf of the EMIS Group plc Employee Benefit Trust.
Following these transactions Chris Spencer has a total beneficial holding of 287,688 Ordinary Shares representing 0.45 % of the Company's issued share capital.
