Independent Resources plc (IRG:L) received notification on 5 August 2011 that Alan Thomas, a Non-Executive Director of the Company purchased 30,333 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company at 36 pence per ordinary share via Giltspur Nominees.

Following this purchase, Alan Thomas is now beneficially interested in 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.218 per cent. of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
