Board Changes

GlobalData, the global provider of data, analytics and insights, is today announcing certain Board changes.

GlobalData Plc announces the appointment of Catherine Birkett to the Board as an independent Non-Executive Director. She will join GlobalData on Monday 8 March 2021. Catherine is currently the Chief Financial Officer of GoCardless Limited, a high growth fintech business. Catherine has had a distinguished career in senior finance roles, including 14 years as Chief Financial Officer at Interoute Telecommunications, during which time the company grew from a small start-up to one of Europe's fastest growing telecoms providers, with revenues in excess of €700m. Catherine will succeed Murray Legg as Chair of the Audit Committee following the AGM.

 In accordance with Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies, Catherine Birkett is 47 years old. In the last 5 years she has held directorships at Interoute Communications Holdings Limited and affiliated companies.

There are no further disclosures to be made under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
