Board appointment

CSF Group plc (AIM: CSFG), a provider of data centre facilities and services in South East Asia, is pleased to announce that Leong Kok Cheng (Michael Leong) has been appointed to the Company's board, in the role of Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective on 10 January 2018.

Mr Leong, aged 56, has been the Group's Acting Chief Executive Officer, in a non-board capacity, since July 2014. Mr Leong originally joined the Group in 2008, as Director of Corporate Finance. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Leong owned an advisory business for over 16 years, which was principally engaged in providing management and corporate consultancy services in the fields of investment banking and capital markets. Prior to setting up his own firm, Mr Leong worked in an investment bank in Malaysia for nine years, where he was involved in the implementation of numerous corporate and debt restructuring exercises. Mr Leong holds a Master in Business Administration from Drake University, lowa, USA and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree from the University of Windsor, Canada. 

The Company provides the following disclosures regarding Mr Leong:

* Wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Group.

As at the date of this announcement, Mr. Leong holds 7,916,529 ordinary shares in the Company, which is equivalent to 4.95% of the Company's total issued ordinary share capital.

There are no further disclosures to be made under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
