Costain Wins EPC Contract Extension with Perenco

Costain, the engineering solutions provider, has been appointed by independent oil & gas company Perenco to deliver Engineering, Procurement and Construction ('EPC') services for the environmental upgrade of the Dimlington gas terminal on Humberside.

The contract is worth approximately £30 million to Costain, and demonstrates the successful progress made in the development of Costain's offering in complex oil & gas services. The project will involve the upgrade of Perenco's refrigeration system at Dimlington to ensure it complies with new environmental legislation coming into force on 1 January 2015. It builds upon the innovative Front End Engineering Design ('FEED') solution Costain previously delivered for Perenco after the Group's original appointment in 2012.
