Following the formal proceedings of the AGM, George Gurry, Chairman of CML, madethe following statement regarding Group trading during the first quarter of thiscurrent trading year and prospects for the financial year 2005/2006: "Having completed the formal items on today's agenda, and before moving on totake any shareholder questions, I will take this opportunity to update you onthe group's performance during the opening months of this current trading year. I am pleased to be able to report that the group's operating results for theopening quarter are comfortably in line with internal forecasts and reflect thecontinuing improvement that characterized the group's performance during theprevious financial year. The firm outcome was achieved against the expected difficulties with the marketsfor Telecom products in the Far East and elsewhere, and although there areseveral challenges in the many months remaining, I feel confident that subjectto unforeseen circumstances, your Company is on course to record a further yearof improved results.
