The Company announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 25 pence each from UBS AG London Branch, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's annual general meeting on 3 May 2019 and as part of its share repurchase programme of up to £100 million, announced on 26 February 2020.

Following the above transaction, the Company holds no ordinary shares in treasury and has 848,349,163 ordinary shares in issue. This is the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
