16 September 2016BlackRock Greater Europe Investment Trust plc (the Company)Transaction in own shares: purchase of own shares to be held in treasuryThe Company announces that it has today purchased 50,000 of its Ordinary Shares at a price of 269.10 pence per share to be held in treasury.Following settlement of this purchase on 20 September 2016 the issued share capital of the Company will be 102,403,113 Ordinary Shares, excluding 7,925,825 which are held in treasury.
