Offer for Subscription - Update

On 4 October 2017, Baronsmead Second Venture Trust plc (the "Company") published a prospectus (the "Prospectus") in relation to an offer for subscription to raise up to £24 million (the "Offer").

The Board is pleased to announce that as at close of business on 23 November 2017 the Company had raised gross proceeds of over £21 million pursuant to the Offer. The Offer remains open to Existing Shareholders and new investors and there remains approximately £3 million of New Shares available for allotment.

Subscriptions will be processed by the Receiving Agent on a "first come, first served" basis. Existing Shareholders and new investors who wish to participate in the Offer should return a completed Subscription Form to the Receiving Agent, as set out in the Prospectus, as soon as possible.

It is expected that the final allotment of New Shares pursuant to the Offer will take place on or around 20 December 2017 or earlier if the Offer becomes fully subscribed.
