إفصاح حول قضية قانونية
انطلاقاً من مبدأ الشفافية و الإفصاح، يود بنك مسقط الإفادة بأنه تم تقديم عدد من الشكاوى متضمنة التعرض لعملية احتيال إلى الإدعاء العام بعبري، و بعد التحقيق في الشكاوي من قبل الجهات المختصة، قام الإدعاء العام بإحالة مجموعة منها إلى المحكمة المختصة و هي تنطوي على تهم إحتيال ضد أربعة موظفين في بنك مسقط قد تصل قيمتها الإجمالية التقديرية بين سبعمئة ألف ريال عماني و مليون ونصف ريال عماني.
و يتم حالياً النظر في القضية بحسب الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، وقد تم تسمية البنك كأحد الأطراف المُدعى عليها على اعتباره الجهة التي يعمل فيها الموظفون المزعم تورطهم في عملية الاحتيال المذكورة. هذا و يود البنك الإفادة بأن القضية أعلاه لن تؤثر بشكل جوهري على عمليات البنك أو أدائه المالي. و تجنباً للتأثير على سير الإجراءات القانونية، لن يتمكن البنك من إعطاء المزيد من التفاصيل المتعلّقة بالقضية إلى حين انتهاء الإجراءات القانونية و القضائية.

Market Disclosure in relation to a legal case
In line with the efforts to maintain transparency and in the interest of due disclosure, Bank Muscat wishes to notify the market that a number of complaints relating to an alleged fraud were reported to the public prosecution in Ibri. After investigation by the concerned authorities, the public prosecution referred a number of these complaints to the respective court. These complaints involve alleged fraud charges against four employees of the bank for an estimated total value to range between RO 700,000 and RO 1.5 million.
The legal proceedings regarding these complaints are currently underway, and the bank has been named as a co-defendant with respect to its role as the employer of the alleged perpetrators. This court case is not expected to have a material impact on the bank's operations, or financial performance. To avoid any interference with the legal process, we are not in a position to provide further comments until the legal and court proceedings have been concluded.
