Update on Publication of Accounts
BiON (AIM: BION), an environmental engineering, wastewater treatment and renewable energy solutions company, gives notice that, due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in Malaysia, the Company will not be in a position to publish its audited report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2020 by 30 September 2021 in accordance with Rule 19 of the AIM Rules for Companies. As a result, the Company's shares will be suspended from trading on AIM pursuant to the AIM Rules with effect from 7.30am on 1 October 2021.
The Company also announces that it intends to take advantage of a one-month extension available from AIM to 31 October 2021 for the publication of its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2021.
Notwithstanding the suspension of trading in the Company's shares, the Company will continue to make announcements as and when there are any developments that require announcement under the AIM Rules.
