Planned Liquidation

 

Bens Creek Group plc (AIM:BEN), the owner of a metallurgical coal mine in North America supplying the steel industry, announces that following a meeting of the board, held on Monday 23rd and subsequent discussions with its advisers, it has elected to liquidate the company. The company which, has appointed Hill Dickinson for the process, will commence immediate proceedings and expects shortly to make an application to the courts. The board has under the circumstances also elected to cancel the previously announced General meeting which was to be held on June 10.
