Director Change
AVEVA Group plc ("AVEVA" or the "Company") announces that Emmanuel Babeau will resign as a Non-Executive Director, Vice Chairman of the Board and member of the Remuneration Committee effective 30 April 2020. This follows the recent announcement by Schneider Electric that Mr Babeau, its Deputy CEO and CFO, would be leaving Schneider Electric on 30 April 2020.
Schneider Electric has nominated Olivier Blum to replace Mr Babeau as a Non-Executive Director of AVEVA and as a member of the Remuneration Committee effective 30 April 2020. Olivier is Head of Strategy and M&A at Schneider Electric and comes with a deep knowledge of Schneider Electric having spent 27 years with Schneider in France, China, India and Hong Kong, both in products and sales. More recently he was Chief Human Resources Officer for 5 years and heavily involved in people management, working closely with the Schneider Electric Board and its Committees.
The Company confirms that there are no details to disclose concerning Olivier Blum in respect of paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
The Board further announces that Peter Herweck will assume the role of Vice Chairman effective 30 April 2020.
