CareCapital Group plc13 September 2006 For release at 0700h, 13 September 2006 CareCapital Group Plc ("CareCapital" or "the Group") Senior Management Appointment CareCapital (AIM: CARE), a healthcare real estate developer and owner that wasadmitted to AIM on 4 August 2006, today announces that Louise Matthews has beenappointed to the senior management team as Director - Healthcare Projects. Shewill be responsible for all projects subject to public procurement processesfrom initial submissions through to the hand-over of completed developments totenants. Louise has considerable previous experience in both healthcare and projectmanagement, most recently gained as Healthcare Projects Manager with LaingO'Rourke, Portfolio Solutions, where she was responsible for identifying andprogressing business development opportunities in major health and associatedprojects including ProCure21, LIFT and PFI. Prior to Laing O'Rourke, Louise spent her career, starting in 1985, in a numberof increasingly senior positions with NHS Trusts in the Birmingham area. From1994-1997, she was Chief Internal Auditor and Head of Specialist Services withHealthcare Audit Services (an NHS Agency). She went on to hold two seniorpositions at NHS Trusts: Trust Board Secretary and Capital & PFI Audit Manager,South Birmingham Mental Health NHS Trust and Risk and Legal Manager, NewHospitals Project, University of Birmingham NHS Trust. Louise holds an MSc in Construction Management and is a Fellow of the Instituteof Internal Auditors.
