Trial Underground Mining Application Update at Šturec Deposit

Ortac Resources Ltd, the AIM listed exploration and development company reports that, following on from announcements dated 20 December 2013, 21 February 2014 and 7 April 2014, thirteen complaints were lodged with the District Mining Bureau, Banská Bystrica, in connection with its decision to approve Ortac's application to begin underground mining in its mining license area at its Šturec deposit in Slovakia.

In accordance with Act No. 71/1967 Coll. on Administrative Proceedings, the matter has now been referred to the Slovak Central Mining Bureau for its decision, which is expected in the next month or so.
