MicroFuze International plc04 October 2007 Stock Exchange Announcement Embargoed until 07:00 hours 4 October 2007 MicroFuze International Plc appoints new Chief Financial Officer and Director MicroFuze International Plc ("MicroFuze" or "the Company") is pleased toannounce the appointment of Dirk Albertus Kotze as Chief Financial Officer andDirector. Aged 40, Mr. Kotze is a South African national and has extensiveexperience of a number of industries including banking, manufacturing and theresources sector. Mr. Kotze qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa and holds aMasters Degree in Business Leadership. His expertise covers financialmanagement, operational and performance management, corporate strategy andorganisational restructuring. Most recently, he has concentrated on corporaterestructuring projects using business intelligence models to co-ordinateplanning, performance, financial and strategic goals. He is a part-timelecturer in Advanced Project Management at the University of Pretoria. Mr. Kotze replaces Tim Wall who resigned recently to pursue other interestsoverseas. Commenting on the appointment, Chairman Peter Marks said: "Dirk brings an impressive array of accomplishments to the Board, havingeffectively served a significant number of corporate leaders in South Africa;notably he has worked as a senior manager at Deloitte Consulting and as afinance transformation director at Barclays Bank plc.
