NATS notes CAA consultation
NATS notes the CAA's publication today of a consultation document on their proposed approach to the next price control review for NATS (En Route) plc ("NERL"). This follows the CMA's RP3 final determination of 23 July 2020 which, in light of Covid-19 challenges, covered a shortened period to December 2022.
We will be studying the consultation document closely and making our response in due course.
We note that the consultation document refers to consideration of potential refinancing by NERL during 2021. Such consideration reflects established market practice in light of the July 2022 maturity date of the company's existing bank facilities. Further announcements will be made in respect of this as required at the appropriate time.
