UNDERWRITING OF THE 2008 FINAL DIVIDEND AND AMENDMENTS TO DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT PLAN (DRP) FOR THE 2008 FINAL DIVIDEND
National Australia Bank Limited today announced its results for the full year ended 30 September 2008. The 2008 Final Dividend is 97 cents per ordinary share, payable on
17 December 2008.
Further to the announcement made on 16 October 2008, National Australia Bank Limited has entered into an agreement with Goldman Sachs JBWere Pty Ltd to underwrite the balance of the 2008 Final Dividend which has not been taken up by shareholders in the DRP.
The following settings will apply to the DRP for the 2008 Final Dividend:
a discount of 3.0% will be applied in determining the "Current Market Price";
the "Pricing Period" will be a period of 15 trading days commencing on 14 November 2008; and
there will be no limit on the number of shares that may participate in the DRP.
Shareholders who would like to commence participation in the DRP or vary their current participation election, should contact NAB's Share Registry on 1300 367 647 (Australia) or +61 3 9415 4299 (outside Australia). Election forms must be completed and returned to the Share Registry or by registering online at www.computershare.com/au/drp/nab
by no later than 5.00pm (AEST) on 13 November 2008.
