University of Leeds: Appointment of Vice-Chancellor
The University of Leeds has appointed Professor Simone Buitendijk as its next Vice-Chancellor. Professor Buitendijk is currently Vice-Provost (Education) at Imperial College London, and was previously Vice-Rector at Leiden University in the Netherlands. She will take up office on 1 September 2020, when the current Vice-Chancellor, Sir Alan Langlands, steps down from the role.
