I got this from HL. Have I missed a discussion on this?:
European Metals Holdings Ltd has announced plans to relocate the company from the British Virgin Islands to Australia.
If approved, it’s expected that the effective date of the redomicile will occur before the end of April 2024. Upon completion of the redomicile it is expected that the shares will continue to be listed on the AIM stock exchange.
Not to be cynical, but if I were going to split my assets in a divorce and a large part of my assets were in the shares of a particular company, it might be in my interest to keep the share price as low as I could until after the settlement was decided, if I had any control over it.

Somebody has spent almost 25K on shares in the past week. I expect it is one person, rather than a sudden general waking-up to this share
... at a pretty fast rate. I am wondering if they know something. I am thinking vaguely of buying more. Never thought I'd say that. I am pretty deeply in the red here.

Hi fpv, I recognise your mioniker from EMH, where I am a long-time holder.
I am hoping that we return to normailty here with a baseline around 9. Before the weird spike we were at about 3 I think. So, if this does work out, the spike will have been useful. Though I confess that there may be something nefarious and cynical in the background.
Private Placings are almost always at a discount. The point is to raise money for the company to invest or operate. Nobody will buy privately placed shares for more than they could buy shares for on the open market. When you buy shares on the market, you are not providing money to the company . Hence the placings. This share has been so volatile lately that it is hard to know what the public price was at the time of the placing price being decided.
Private placings are not unusual. They are not a terrible sign. Nor are they a wonderful signm though press releases do tend to be upbeat about them. They do provide money to keep the comapny going. I strongly suspect that whoever bought them, bought them as a long-term investment, rather than a quick resell,
Don't know if this has been shared:

I have also been worried about this as a fast pump from that (much advertised) financial news article, and that must be a cause of the meteoric rise. However the RNS is good and does seeom to imply real value . Also, there s a bit f momentum gathering. I just came upon another published view yesterday:
