All renewable trusts now need to go private, to unlock value and re finance. They cannot raise a bean with the current discounts. That will not change anytime soon. Hence the need to sell the lot

In general terms, I'm not a fan of BBs with bigger companies as it has a muted affect, only impacting EPS, and who really cares about that in the world of large caps and PIs

However a buyback here would have a big affect on the SP. They could even buyback enough to push the SP to c25. Many options and permutations now available to the board.

MMs seem to have been slow of the mark this AM, was looking to add, but all funds tied up and I already have a substantial chunk

I picked up another 100k shares after the call, this has been overdone IMO. RNS update was overly cautious, they where being overly transparent. That but the skids under the SP. The call was more balanced and the read through was we have further EBIT growth within the portfolio, some near term

Yeah, they exceeded internal policy only. All banking covernants are perfectly good

Disposal (wks away) will bring down consolidated borrowing to 65% of NAV (or better, no specifics on deal due to market rules etc) within internal policy

Sounds like they have been over cautious in the update Vs the output on the call (context made a difference)
