Garydav2, the main working capital in a bank is cash, if you sold your loan book like Tesco bank recently did and then pay back your depositors. What is left behind? Remember there a almost no intangibles or goodwill on MTRO's balance sheet so very easy to unwind.

@Worzel. This is far better than SXX by the way. You do know that most commodity companies in their early stages wipe out their first set and even their second set of equity investors don't you. What made you want to invest in a company which is basically a promise of jam a very long way into the future, but is contingent on X, Y, Z happening first?

CYBG is a flea infested dog and it is up over the last few sessions. MTRO has no such issues but it is priced to go bankrupt with a lower P/BV than CYBG. I am not sure why the BoD are not being more reactive to the low sp.

Haha, so many times have done this due to FOMO on other shares. Now my rule is to buy when I am most fearful, generally works.

I work in insurance, so can see the value here. Only weakness is the debt levels, though if they use cash to settle debt they should be fine. Insurance is cyclical, one year you are releasing back years and the next strengthening.
